Traditionally, Ute Canopies are constructed with fibreglass or ABS plastic. The Utemaster Centurion Canopy is constructed with Aluminium which gives it greater strength. It has a dynamic load rating of 200kg and a static load rating of 600kg.
Because it is so strong, we can maximise access through full-width doors without compromising on the structural integrity of the canopy.

Finding it hard to reach your tools and equipment through small canopy windows?
Wasting time and feel frustrated when trying to access your gear?
The Utemaster Centurion Canopy features full-width doors that give you access to your gear the whole way down each side. There is no obstruction along the top edge of your tub meaning you can easily reach over and pull your gear out through the side door opening.
We were recently asked: “What are they like keeping the rain out when open ???? the worst part of my canopy is all the water tracks straight inside with wings open…”
That's so frustrating! We can only imagine how many tradespeople and recreationists out their struggle with this over the winter periods. Not only does it damage your gear inside, but it also delays progress on a job site.
We thought we'd share a video of the Utemaster Aluminium Canopy being water-tested during the design/ development phase a few months back - as you can see the built-in rain channels send any water landing on the canopy away for the inside of your tub.
Losing your tools and equipment due to a break-in is not only lost money - this can also have an impact on the time and productivity of the job you are working on.
Concealed security latches mean each door is locked on both sides, making it hard to pry open.
On some products you will see the locking rods exposed, this can be problematic if your load shifts during transport because it can jam the locking mechanism.
To prevent this from happening, the Centurion Canopy™ has lock covers on the inside of the doors, these also provide the canopy with a tidy “finished” look.
As an optional extra, you can purchase a Central Locking accessory for the Centurion Canopy.
This allows you to lock the canopy using the factory vehicle key remote.
Please Note: Your Canopy can be locked manually using the supplied key. The Central Locking is an optional upgrade accessory.
1X LED light comes standard with the Central Locking accessory, which is mounted to the inside of the rear door on the canopy.
You have the option to upgrade this by adding another light to each side door.
This helps to fully illuminate the tub area and makes it easier to see your gear at night time.

Please Note: This part is designed to connect to the system used for the single light which features in the rear door, it cannot be retrofitted to a canopy without this light.
Fibreglass or ABS canopies can easily crack under stress.
Despite being lightweight, if engineered correctly aluminium can achieve a very high strength-to-weight ratio and withstand a significant amount of weight and stress without breaking.
This means you can carry much heavier loads than you ever could on a fibreglass or ABS canopy, without going over your Gross Vehicle Mass rating.
Every Centurion Canopy is model specific and has been designed to match the contours and profile of the vehicle.
In addition to this, the Centurion Canopy doors are made up of one aluminium panel which have no external rivets.
This not only gives the canopy its stealth appearance but also helps boasts its strength.
It is a tough coating that is baked onto the Canopy during the painting process.
This finish is resistant to scratches, chips, fading, and corrosion, ensuring that your canopy will look great for years to come. It also matches the black accents of the vehicle.
You may be wondering if the canopy gets hot, it can on the surface but the inside stays cool enough to keep your beer fridge running cold!
The Utemaster Centurion canopy has an inbuilt support frame and no additional bracing is needed to make it load-bearing meaning the available load height is HUGE.
When you purchase a Centurion Canopy™ you are investing in quality gear.
The concealed extrusion hinge runs the full length of the door, matches the Canopy colour and eliminates fasteners piercing the body.
This significantly reduces water ingress and improves the longevity of the product.
All utes are designed to flex in between the tub and the cab. This can be problematic for roof racks that are mounted to both the cab and the canopy because it can cause damage while the flex occurs.
The Cantilever Roof Rack is an optional heavy-duty rack that extends over the cab of your Ute without requiring any direct mounting points to the cab.
The Cantilever Roof Rack has a dynamic load rating of 200kgs and a static load rating of 600kgs. The dynamic load rating refers to the amount of load you can safely carry at open road speeds, whereas static load rating refers to the amount of weight you can put on the rack when the Ute is parked (For example, a Roof Top Tent with people inside).
For those who like to bring their furry friends along for the ride, we offer the Dog Vent Kit.
This accessory provides ventilation and fresh air for your canine companion, ensuring their comfort and safety while on the road.
The Dog Vent Kit is easy to install and is fitted to both doors of the canopy for ultimate airflow. The doors can still be locked with the dog vent kit applied which means the gear on the inside is still safe and secure.
A traditional canopy shelving unit requires a frame mounted to the floor which gets in the way and takes up valuable load space.
The Removable Canopy Shelving Unit is attached using a T-Track system which is mounted to the ceiling using the same load-bearing mounts that support the Cantilever Rack.
It will help you keep your tub organised and tidy by providing a dedicated space to store your tools, small parts, and equipment inside your vehicle.
If you’re looking to set up your ute for touring, the Centurion Canopy with Cantilever Roof Rack is the ideal platform to mount a rooftop tent.
You can also mount awnings and retrofit accessories like recovery tracks to the side doors.

The Utemaster Centurion Canopy is easy to install because it attaches to the ute using factory mounting points in the tub.
This means it requires no drilling so if you decide to remove the canopy e.g. for selling, there's no need to worry about damaging your vehicle.
We provide fitting instructions and videos with every product, so you can easily install the canopy yourself. Additionally, the central locking system is designed to be wired up without the need for an electrician, making it even easier to set up.
No issues at all, windows in a ute canopy are not a WOF requirement
With a Cantilever Roof Rack fitted you can carry 200kg dynamic load rating and 600kg static rating. The Cantilever Roof Rack evenly distributes weight across the canopy for maximum strength.
