Real Builds: Ford Ranger Raptor - TrailCore Tray & Canopy Mule-Tek Build
Posted on 24 June 2026 by Utemaster
One Ford Ranger Raptor. One TrailCore Tray & Canopy. Full Mule-Tek fitout throughout.
Most touring builds mix and match - a canopy from one brand, drawers from another, panels from a third. This Raptor took a different approach: a full Utemaster TrailCore Tray & Canopy paired with an all-Mule-Tek internal fitout. Everything designed together and everything working together as one system.

The Mule-Tek Drawers
The drawer system is the backbone of the interior. Lockable, solid, and built to fill the available space properly so there's no dead space. Pull one open on a corrugated track and everything stays exactly where you loaded it.
The Mule-Tek system runs on T-Track mounting throughout the TrailCore, which means if your needs change, the configuration can change too.
The Mule-Tek Pull-Out Pantry
The Mule-Tek Pull-Out Pantry is the camp kitchen sorted. It slides out and has you set up in seconds - no balancing act on the tailgate or digging through bags. Tired after a long drive or kids hungry and ready for some lunch? The ability to be set up in seconds is a gamechanger for those moments.
The Mule-Tek Rear Panel
The rear panel provides a full modular mounting surface across the back of the canopy. Spades, recovery gear, tools - mount what you need where you need it, and reconfigure when the mission changes.
Spare Tyre Carrier & Jerry Can Holder
The spare tyre carrier keeps the spare mounted cleanly at the rear - freeing up internal space and keeping the build tidy. The jerry can holder keeps whatever you're carrying (fuel, water, rubbish) secure and out of the tray.
